New artist on Art Studios International

Welcome to Eve Wheeler to Artists Studios International.


Eve is a talented artist living and creating new artwork in Florida. Her works are self described as “Modern Realistic Impressionism” with an emphasis on precise color and brushstrokes. Each of her paintings are recognizable for the selected subject matter.

Her work is influenced by the study of the portrait-painting techniques of renowned artists, Janet McGrath, Thomas Baker, and Margaret Carter Baumgaertner. She is also inspired by the works of traditional and upcoming artists: Robert Lange, Amy Lind, and Nance Danforth, to name a few. She is continually fascinated by the use of color, while creating light contrast and shadows of seemingly minor details.

Eve began selling her paintings to the public in 1996, placing an emphasis on custom artwork. She has completed over 100 commissioned paintings of subjects that include landscapes, portraits, and animals. Additionally, Eve has worked with interior decorators, and completed paintings for the entire homes of individual clients residing in Florida and Massachusetts.
